Do tutors come to us or do we come to the office?
GSU tutors will meet clients at their homes or at a public place such as Library.


What ages are tutored by GSU?
We tutor clients from Grade 3 through College.


What teaching styles does GSU utilize?
GSU seeks to facilitate the best student learning by teaching through the client's primary learning style(s).


How does GSU access client needs?
We conduct a free familiarization session which seeks to uncover the client's learning style, as well as their content strengths and weaknesses via a diagnostic test.


What standards are used by GSU for instruction?
GSU utilizes state local standard where these apply and specific standardized test standards where these apply.


Does GSU have a trial period for clients?
Our trial period is two sessions long, which must be prepaid. These sessions allow client and tutor to determine if they are a fit and allow cancellation of service after these initial sessions without a long term commitment by either party.


Does GSU offer discounts?
Yes. If a client pays for 10 or more sessions at one time, we offer a 10% discount. In addition, if you refer a client who pre-pays for 10 or more sessions, we offer an additional $20 off your next bill.


Are clients required to sign a contract?
Yes, clients are required to sign a contract that determines the length of service, as well as details each party's responsibilities and rights. Clients are also required to confirm that tutoring has taken place by signing each session's tutoring log.
